Meet Emily. She is a lovely girl who has been battling brain cancer for quite some time. We found out that Emily was a puppy lover. So when I met her, I asked if she could do me a favor – I needed some help to foster a litter of 8 week old labs for the day. She said YES! So a Doggy themed day was planned. Thanks to our friends at Rescue Warriors in Elgin, Emily and her family enjoyed an evening with these beautiful pups.

And the fun didn’t stop there; Robin’s Dog Stars put on a circus dog show for the family, right in their living room for Emily to enjoy! After they enjoyed dinner from their favorite BBQ joint, mom had this to share with us: “Yesterday was really fun, Emily liked the dog show and got to give them a treat. She loved the puppies; they climbed up all over her! They were licking her hand and face because she had eaten some of the ribs. Thank you so much for making all of that happen!” We also delivered a nice gift basket for Emily’s Dog, and a check to help mom and dad with medical expenses.
