CKMC gave a Kiss of HOPE to Jakub in January 2014. This hilarious 9 year old has been battling a brain tumor for 6 years. Joe Kettner met Jakub’s mom through a past Kiss of HOPE recipient, Rosie Colucci. After meeting Jakub, it was easy to see that he was a big WWE fan. It also seemed that the timing was right to plan a family trip for Jakub and his family, as he was finishing up with another round of treatment. With that, CKMC put together a family trip to St. Louis to be VIP’s at a WWE Event! The best part was that Jakub and his brother had no idea where they were going! Their weekend began with a Hotel VIP suite check-in, and some indoor swimming. Then Jakub and his brother opened up a special present from CKMC to reveal their big surprise. After seeing WWE smash dolls, they knew what was to come! At the event, Jakub and his family were treated like royalty with wonderful fan perks, including front row ringside seats, a superstar meet & greet, pictures with the WWE Championship belt, and much more!

Jakub’s Mom shared many thanks to CKMC for a weekend to remember: “Joe, thank you so much for making this happen! We had a great time! Jake says it was epic!!! John Cena even gave Jake his sweat band after his match!”
